Following the destructive earthquake that happened in Zagreb 22.03.2020. 26.000 buildings were damaged and 1.900 of them are unusable.

Emergency management office issued the following information, out of 26.197 damaged buildings and structured, 9.642 are reported to be family houses.

Apart from family hoses and buildings, big structural damage happened in Zagreb Cathedral, "Klovićevi dvori" gallery, Museum of Arts and Crafts and "Komedija" theater, aswell as very high numbers of hospitals: Jordanovac pulmonary disease clinic, Orthopedics clinic, Petrova hospital...

Apart from above mentioned and many others, Klaiceva children´s hospital also suffered extensive damage. All children who were allowed to do so, due to their medical condition, were released from the hospital.

Klaićeva children´s hospital consists of four buildings, and the "Fischer´s" building, built in year 1908. was affected the most. Highly dangerous cracs and plast damage occured in the structure of the building.
